CAMEO ADELE is a California born artist known for her smooth, sultry, soulful vocals and hard hitting life reflecting lyrics. The Neo Soul/NuWave Soul singer has been influenced by the silky sounds of Lauryn Hill, the sassy realism of Amy Winehouse, the jazzy vocal depths of Sade and the earthy rawness of Erykah Badu.
After years of working with many other aspiring producers and artists, Cameo made a compatible connection with production team VXV members, Ujah and Andrew David V. who she refers to as her hidden gems. Together they have created a collection of songs with deep house influences and crowd pleasing grooves. “The Queen’s Letters” was Cameos first EP released to SoundCloud listeners on December 5, 2014. This release, along with single releases of her original track “On My Mind”(August 2015) and a cover rendition of early 2000’s hit “Oops (Oh My)”, took Miss Adele from the girl writing a capella melodies in her car to the vocalist with 20,000+ plays on her SoundCloud page. Cameo has since continued to expand her horizon by extending her platform to Itunes, Spotify, Apple Music, and many other streaming stores. Cameo Adele’s debut album “To You From Venus”, released Halloween 2016, is a collective of soul sounds formulated to convey the spiritual influence that fuels Miss Adele’s message of unity, emotional clarity, and spiritual balance.
Cameo Adele started her writing aspirations as an elementary school student when her poetry was picked to be published in the “2004 Young American Poetry Digest” and many other youth poetry publications following. As her love for music grew, it was a natural evolution for her, by age 12, to add melodies to her heart felt words. Surrounded by a musical family, she was guided by her mother in developing her vocal abilities and later creating her own sound. Today, the maturity of her melodies, the realness of her lyrics and the soulful seduction of her vocals have proven contagious to all that listen.
